Denisa: From Elite Model Look to Mentor for Aspiring Models

Thirteen years ago, a native of Prague won the prestigious Schwarzkopf Elite Model Look, even though she had never dreamed of walking fashion shows or appearing in magazines. Thanks to her mother, however, she developed into a top model whose unique beauty has left a lasting mark on the world of modeling. Today, Denisa lives in Prague, where she not only works as a model herself but also supports aspiring models as they enter the fashion industry. As a two-time ambassador for Elite, she regularly accompanies castings and gives young talents insights into the work of model agencies.

The final evening of the Elite Model Look, held in the Spanish Hall of Prague Castle, has always been a special moment full of nostalgia for Denisa. “These are powerful memories that gave my life a new direction,” she says. The first steps of the participants on stage remain unforgettable, especially when they wear heels for the first time and step into the world of professional modeling.

Although Denisa originally didn’t want to become a model—at fourteen, she dreamed more of a career as a hairdresser—the casting became a turning point in her life. Today, she knows firsthand the challenges and opportunities modeling offers. She gives young models practical advice, such as how to walk on the runway or build a professional portfolio, and shares her experiences with the processes in model agencies.

Throughout her career, Denisa has worked internationally, from Singapore to Tokyo to Marrakech. However, she prefers European cities such as Paris, Barcelona, or Prague, as she finds a better balance between work and private life here. “I want to stay and settle here,” she says, “because I feel connected to home and can finally really get to know Prague.”

For the new generation of models, Denisa emphasizes the importance of endurance, fitness, and professionalism. Even if you look young, it is crucial to take care of yourself, exercise regularly, and pay attention to nutrition. At the same time, she always keeps the big picture in mind: the development of models, collaboration with model agencies, and the chance to realize one’s potential.

Today, at 28, Denisa looks back on an impressive modeling career, while increasingly engaging with photography and other creative projects. She remains connected to the fashion world but also shows that a model can be successful without limiting herself to runways and photoshoots—and that mentoring in model agencies opens doors for the next stars of the industry.
