End of Vogue Paris.
It has long been clear that Condé Nast, which owns Vogue, among others, is engaged in extensive, global restructuring. Among other things, they have promoted Anna Wintour and Edward Enninful, and said goodbye to longtime Vogue Paris editor Emmanuelle Alt.

Rumors have been circulating that the French edition of Vogue will also have to say goodbye to its current name. It has now been confirmed that Vogue Paris will be called Vogue France. Right after the magazine's 100th anniversary issue.

The first issue of Vogue France will be out in November. The magazine in its new guise has chosen Aya Nakamura as the cover star. The French-Malaysian artist, whose song Djadja is one of her biggest international hits, is called "a French, new generation icon" by the magazine itself.

Jared Leto and Macaulay Culkin went on the runway for Gucci.
Yesterday, November 2, the world's most popular brand show took place in Hollywood: Gucci Love Parade. There were several famous faces to be seen on the runway, including Jared Leto. The 49-year-old actor and Oscar winner is immediately relevant with the highly anticipated film House of Gucci, along with Lady Gaga.

Actor Macaulay Culkin was also seen at the show. A rather different look than what we can still say we are guilty of associating the former child star with: namely the Home Alone movies.
The Gucci family has previously stated that they are very dissatisfied with and offended by the casting of the upcoming film about their own family history, and has specifically said that Jared Leto's performance as Pablo Gucci was "terrible". This has obviously not stopped them from having him on the show.

Nike is getting ready for meta.
A lot of hype was generated after it became known that Nike has trademarked seven symbols, phrases and names for use in downloading in virtual worlds. Among other things, Swooshen, Jordan's Jumpman and the Air Jordan wing logo - and the "Just Do It" motto.

Several brands have been experimenting with virtual reality lately. Recently, Balenciaga and Fortnite joined forces on a virtual collection, Gucci came up with virtual sneakers earlier this year - and both Emily Ratajkowski and Cara Delevingne have actually sold their own NFTs (non-fungible tokens).

A Swedish artist is the mastermind behind the Balenciaga Crocs campaign.
Balenciaga has once again dropped crocs - something that has triggered hate and love for many. This time, one of the brains behind the launch is Swedish artist Anna Uddeberg.

She has been brought in by Balenciaga to create a launch campaign that combines "the alien with the familiar". The campaign consists of human sculptures made from upcycled Balenciaga materials, led by the new Crocs models Crocs Madame and Crocs Boots.

Louis Vuitton opens pop-up library.
Louis Vuitton ends the year with a pop-up at the boutique hotel Brach in Paris. Here they exhibit a travel and photography-related selection of their famous coffee table books from Éditions Louis Vuitton: namely books from the City Guide, Travel Book and Fashion Eye series.

The City Guide books can be traced all the way back to 1998, and since then the fashion house has created its own guide to 30 carefully selected cities around the world. What’s new this year is that they are re-releasing 15 of these, in a lacquered collection box and with an exclusive notebook.
