Marianne Schröder is a Norwegian model born in 1977 in Smola, Norway. Since the start of her modeling career, she has collaborated with many designers. Marianne has appeared on the cover of several magazines. She even worked in a music video of Royksopp’s song “What Else is There?”.
She signed up with plenty of modeling agencies across the globe. This helped her get wonderful opportunities to establish herself as a famous model. She is a hardworking and dedicated model who always gave her best and tried to be creative. She has been photographed by many top photographers such as Pascal Chevallier, Andreas Bleckmann, Louise Decamps, Elisabeth Hoff, Ruven Afanador, and many others.
Marianne had been featured in a plethora of magazine covers. In 1998, she did a cover for Glamour Italy edition. In June 2002, she did a cover for Numero France edition. Next month, she appeared on the cover of Vogue Germany (Supplement). Additionally, in October 2002, she did a magazine cover for Amica. In October/November 2002, she was photographed for the cover of magazine Oyster Australia issue. Marianne was featured on the inaugural cover of Vogue Portugal in November 2002.
In May 2004, she did a cover for the magazine Eurowoman Denmark edition. Later in 2005, she did a cover for the famous magazine Marie Claire Spain. In April 2012, Marianne was featured on the cover of the magazine Eurowoman.
During her career, she has modeled for Boss by Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Missoni Ambiente, Celine, Marc O’Polo and Jil Sander. Other designers she did ads for includes Anna Rita N, Imitz, Marks & Spencer, Pilgrim, Pollini, and Russell & Bromley. She even did an editorial for SMUG magazine March issue in 2011. This editorial was called The Number of the Beach.
Marianne Schröder walked at many fashion shows. In 1999, she walked for Chanel and Marcel Marongiu Ready to Wear Autumn/Winter 1999. She walked for Chanel Haute Couture Autumn/Winter 1999. Later, in 2000, she walked for Etro, and Anteprima at Ready to Wear Spring/Summer 2000. The next year brought her luck and good opportunities. She walked the Reay to Wear Spring/Summer 2003 Fashion Show for many designers. Some of them includes Alma, Alice, Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Cividini, Cerutti, Claude Montana, Donna Karan, Diesel StyleLab, Etro, Emilio Cavallini, Fendi, Guy Laroche, Guerriero, Haneza Julien Macdonald, Leonard, Laura Biagiotti, Missoni, MaxMara, Rosa Ch, Nanette Lepore, Samsonite BlackLabel, Y and Kei, and Tomaso Stefanelli.
In 2003, she walked the ramp for Matthew Williamson Autumn/Winter fashion show in New York. For the Ready to Wear Autumn/Winter 2003, she walked for Boyd, Catherine Malandrino, Arkadius, Carmen Marc Valvo, Guerriero, Gharani Strok,Gai Mattiolo, Haneza, Hamish Morrow, James Coviello, Matthew Williamson, Iceberg, Jeremy Scott, Pamella Roland, Paul Smith, Wink, Y and Kei, Tomaso Stefanelli, Yeohlee, and Tracy Reese.
