Armanda Barten is a Dutch model working mainly in advertising and editorials. She was born in Papendrecht, the Netherlands in 1984. Since she was scouted and discovered, she has travelled the world via Amsterdam. Armanda Barten completed advertising campaigns for Femilet Lingerie in 2014 and also starred in photoshoots for Body & Soul as well as BonPrix. Her editorials include work for Fit for Fun in 2008 and Femme Actuelle magazine June 2011. Armanda graced the Cover of Shape South Africa in 2009, Vital 2010, and Standard as well as Siren in July and December 2012. The model was also featured in advertisements for C&A, La Sanza, Miss Mary, Jergens, Najaar, Van Dalen and Nivea. She famously appeared in a photoshoot alongside male supermodel David Gandy walking along the beach. Armanda Barten lives her life "out of a suitcase" because of all the travel required to lead her illustrious modeling career. She is primarily a lingerie model who works internationally from the beaches of Los Angeles and the Mediterranean all the way to Africa. With so many beach-based photoshoots, she stays fit through surfing, running and swimming.
