They were deported to Baragan, where she lived with her family in a small town in the South-eastern Romanian plain. From a very young age, Rodica was interested in fashion. She joined the modeling career in 2011 after she was discovered by a young fashion executive. He proposed an advertisement campaign. Her first "amateur" presentation was in 1987! She participated in a fashion history show organized by the Bucharest City Museum through its own collections. It took place in the Stirbey Palace where she was working as a museographer. She was wearing a beautiful blue dress from 1840 but she didn't dare look at the dress, the room or the camera lens.
