Alyone Subbotina was born in 1990 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, and played volleyball from a young age. She became a part of the Olympic Volleyball team for Kazakhstan, though she would soon leave her home country. By age 16, she began modeling in Singapore, alongside her studies in hospitality management. By 2011, her place in the modeling industry was secured when she was the exclusive model used by Givenchy in their opening of Paris Fashion Week.
